Broadway has always been a place for creativity, arts and live performance.
We are looking for musicians, singers and other community performers interested in bringing their talents to the Broadway District.
Whether you are an experienced performer, an emerging artist or someone looking for a welcoming place to share your work, we would like to hear from you.
Performance Opportunities on Broadway
Approved performers may be invited to use designated spaces in the district, including the Broadway Community Patio and other available performance locations.
Opportunities may vary depending on:
- Space availability
- Scheduled events and programming
- The size and type of performance
- Sound or equipment requirements
- Weather and public-space conditions
- Nearby business and community activities
Submitting an application does not guarantee a specific date, location or number of performances.
Who Can Apply?
We welcome applications from a range of performers, including:
- Solo musicians
- Duos and small musical groups
- Singers
- Instrumental performers
- Spoken-word artists
- Family-friendly entertainers
- Cultural performers
- Emerging and student artists
- Other performers suited to shared public spaces
Performances must be respectful, welcoming and appropriate for a public space used by people of different ages and backgrounds.
Before You Apply
Applicants should be prepared to provide:
- Performer or group name
- Primary contact information
- Type of performance
- Number of performers
- Preferred dates and times
- Approximate performance length
- Equipment and sound requirements
- Links to performance samples, when available
- A short performer biography
- A photograph that may be used for promotion
Amplification, equipment placement and access to electricity may be limited. Applicants must receive confirmation before promoting a performance as officially scheduled.
Performers are expected to keep walkways, entrances and accessible routes clear and to follow any location-specific instructions provided by the BBID.
