The Evermore Centre, in partnership with Remai Modern, is honoured to welcome Dr. Jacqueline Maurice as the first guest in our new Voices of Truth Speaker Series, happening on Wednesday, September 23rd, 2026.
Voices of Truth brings forward true, lived experiences, exploring the personal impacts of colonialism on First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples on Treaty 6 Territory and beyond.
Join Dr. Maurice for an inspiring and informative evening as she explores the lasting impacts of colonial policies, including the Sixties Scoop, and reflects on the journey from victim to survivor and from Warrior to Wisdom.
As we approach National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, join us for an evening of healing, reflection, connection, and truth.
