Festive Fun!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas on Broadway! Stroll the avenue, admire the twinkling light displays, and participate in these festive fun activities for the whole family.

Starting December 4th to 19th, Broadway will be filled with fun activities for the whole family! Be sure to keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram feeds for all the updates.

✨ WINDOW DECORATING ✨

Whether it’s merry, bright, or delightfully over-the-top, you decide which business sleighs the window decorating contest this year!

Voting opens: 5:00 PM on December 4th
Voting closes: 12:00 PM (noon) on December 19th
Winners announced: December 19th on Broadway BID’s social media and website pages

✨ SCAVENGER HUNT ✨

During the Spirit of Christmas celebration, a special Runaway Gift has gone missing, and it’s hiding somewhere inside one of our participating Broadway businesses! Your mission? Be the first one to find it, claim it, and you could win a prize valued at $100!

These are the Runaway Gifts that you must find to win the prize!

🌟 HOW TO PLAY 🌟

1. Hunt Broadway Avenue – gifts are always visible!
A Runaway Gift has been hidden inside one participating Broadway business.
Look carefully in store windows or displays because the gift will always be visible without touching merchandise or disturbing staff.

2. Find the code inside the package
Each Runaway Gift is a small, sparkly holiday package with a special tag (and legs)!
Inside, you’ll find a unique code that proves you’ve found the real runaway gift.

3. Claim your prize
Take the Runaway Gift to the store staff so they can verify its authenticity.
Then bring the gift box and tag with the code to the Broadway BID Office located at 613 9th Street East, to collect your prize!

 ✨Clues drop every Monday & Friday on Broadway BID’s social media. The hunt runs from December 4th to 19th. ✨

🌟 RULES OF PLAY🌟

  • Only one prize per person can be claimed during the Runaway Gift Scavenger Hunt promotion.
  • Fair Play: Please don’t move, hide, or tamper with the gift. If you’re not claiming it, leave it for another hunter to find.
  • Where to Look: Gifts are always in publicly accessible areas, so there is no need to open drawers, go behind counters, or enter staff-only areas.
  • Family Friendly: Everyone is welcome! Children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult.
  • Redemption Deadline: Prizes must be claimed by noon on Tuesday, December 23, 2025.

  • Follow the Clues: New hints drop every Monday and Friday on the Broadway BID social media pages.
  • Look High and Low: Gifts might be nestled in a holiday display, on a shelf, or in a window. It will always be visible without moving anything.
  • Be Kind & Curious: While you search, enjoy browsing and shopping locally since it’s the spirit of the season!

Example – You spot a clue on Friday’s Instagram story that hints at a cozy shop full of books and cocoa. You stop by a local bookstore, spot a tiny, wrapped package tucked in a holiday display, and take it to the counter. The staff confirms it’s the Runaway Gift, and you head to the Broadway BID office (Unit A, 613 9th Street East) to collect your prize.
