As a reminder, effective September 1, Saskatoon Transit will no longer accept old smart cards as valid fare passes. The farebox scanners are being replaced with a cash-only farebox top. New reloadable smart cards and mobile tickets will continue to use the validator near the bus entrance.
Customers with old smart cards are encouraged to exchange them by August 31 to maintain access to their balances. Customers must transfer existing balances and active entitlements to a new smart card at the Transit Customer Service. The $5 activation fee is waived when exchanging old cards.
New cards can be purchased or reloaded at the Customer Service Centre or at participating vendors.
