Sidewalk Conversations is a weekly pop-up initiative from the Broadway Business Improvement District designed to bring us out of the office and into the heart of the Broadway District.
Every Tuesday, you’ll find us set up at a different location, inside local businesses or out on the sidewalk, creating space for casual, meaningful conversations with the people who make Broadway what it is.
No meetings. No formal presentations. Just a chance to connect.
What to Expect
Sidewalk Conversations are informal, drop-in sessions where you can:
- Share ideas, feedback, or concerns
- Ask questions about BBID programs and initiatives
- Talk about what’s happening in your business or on the street
- Connect with us (and each other) in a relaxed, approachable way
Each week includes a light conversation prompt to help get things started, but you’re always welcome to bring whatever’s on your mind.

Rotating locations throughout the Broadway District
Locations will be shared weekly on our social media channels and through direct outreach to nearby businesses.

Sidewalk Conversations are open to:
- Broadway business owners and staff
- Property owners
- Community members and visitors
If you’re part of Broadway in any way, you’re invited.
Host a Sidewalk Conversation
Interested in having us pop up at your business?
We’re always looking for welcoming, accessible spaces to host Sidewalk Conversations whether that’s a café, shop, patio, or storefront.
Hosting is simple:
- We bring everything we need
- You provide a space for conversation
- Optional: offer a small special or feature (totally up to you)

Why We’re Doing This
We know that some of the most valuable conversations don’t happen in boardrooms, they happen in passing, over coffee, or right on the sidewalk.
