Bigger and Better 36th Annual Broadway Street Fair (& volunteer sign up)

The Broadway Business Improvement District (Broadway BID) is proud to present the 36th Annual Broadway Street Fair. Street Fair is always hosted the Saturday following the September long weekend; this year, Saturday, September 7th, 2019. This is Broadway’s largest one day event each year, drawing thousands to the street.

The annual Grace-Westminster pancake breakfast will take place again during this year’s Street Fair! Visit Grace-Westminster United Church from 8 AM to 11 AM on the morning of September 7th for a delicious pancake breakfast!

The Street Fair runs from 10am to 5pm with an eclectic array of street performers, vendors, artists, musicians, dancers and Broadway merchants selling their best mark downs and sales of the year. Headlining the music stage will be Miss Persona, children’s television performer from Treehouse TV. Community performers will also be featured throughout Saturday.

Aside from the High Point Music Stage there will be the same entertainment everyone looks forward each fall: giant super slide, silent auction tent, food trucks, dance performances, and local arts and crafts. Come test your aim and dexterity at the Lumberjax Axe Throwing booth. The free Kids Kingdom is always a huge draw for its petting zoo, pony rides, bouncy castles, and face painting.

Along with the British Car Show there will be a Show and Shine of another variety – The Cycle Show featuring custom, vintage, and unique bicycles. Kids can test out their bike riding skills on the Short Cycle Track.

The Broadway BID looks forward to hosting the community for another sunny Street Fair. Each year this event renews Broadway’s historic role as Saskatoon’s cultural main street. Thanks kindly to the event sponsors, Tourism Saskatchewan, Affinity Credit Union, SaskTel and the many merchants of Broadway.

We are still looking for volunteers for the day – if you would like to help out please fill out the form here. (More details on the form.)
